CRPF - Central Reserve Police Force

The Central Reserve Police Force is India's largest paramilitary force, that functions under the aegis of Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. The primary role of this police force is to maintain law and order in every state & Union Territory across the country. 

CRPF has an active participation in maintaining internal security in every part of the country. They perform a variety of duties ranging from helping people during floods to counter naxal operations, VIP security to guarding people against terrorist activities, election duty to guarding some vital installations.

The Government of India has a dedicated institute "CRPF Academy" for the training of CRPF trainees. The institute trains the young candidates through different training strategies, that makes a person handle any kind of situation that a country may face.
