FICCI - Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry

Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is an association of business organizations in India, Headquartered in Federation House, Tansen Marg, New Delhi. The organization was founded in 1927 by G D Birla and Purushottam das Thakurdas, on the advice of Mahatma Gandhi. It is a non-government, not-for-profit organisation encompassing members from top MNCs, Public and Private sector companies, SMEs to Industry Associations.

It is rapidly becoming the choice of many industries in India, as it has approximately 3 lakh companies from all over India enjoying their association. Membership is open to all Public and Private sector companies, including  MNC’s and SMEs. FICCI is one of the top organizations supporting and funding government & non-government educational institutes of India.
