What is the full form of ISRO ?

ISRO – Indian Space Research Organization

The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) was established in 1969 and is currently under the Department of Space. Indian Space Research Organization is engaged in application of Space Science and Space Technology for national benefit.

         ISRO has achieved numerous milestones since its establishment starting from the first Indian satellite, Aryabhata to Rohini, the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) and the Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV).
