MDU - Maharshi Dayanand University

Maharshi Dayanand University is the most prestigious University of Haryana. It is a NAAC accredited University and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Govt. of India. The University was established in 1975 as Rohtak University, but in 1977 its name was changed to Maharshi Dayanand University in the name of "Maharshi Dayanand".

The University offers graduate, post-graduate and Doctoral courses in the field of Engineering, Management, Computer Application, Commerce, Law, Life Sciences and many more. The University is located in Rohtak where it shares its campus with IIM Rohtak.

The University has more than 660 acres of campus and accommodates more than 1.7 lakh students within the University and in different colleges affiliated to it.
