IES - Indian Economic Service

The Indian Economic Service is the administrative civil service of the Central Civil Services of the executive branch of the Government of India constituted in 1961. The officers of IES may work in various areas including, finance, health, agriculture, industry, trade, transport and education.

The eligibility criteria to appear of Indian Economic Service is an individual must be a Post graduate in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics from a recognized university.
