What is the full form of IOB ?

IOB - Indian Overseas Bank

IOB was founded in February 10 1937 by Shri M.Chidambaram Chettyar with basic 2 objectives in mind specializing in overseas banking and foreign exchange business. Indian Overseas Bank was one of the 14 major banks that was nationalized in 1969.

        After nationalization, they have stated opening their branches in rural parts of India. Currently IOB is into Savings Account, Current Account, Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Online Banking, Home Loans etc.
