NCC - National Cadet Corps

The National Cadet Corps is an Indian Military cadet corps that gives basic military training (in small arms and parades) to the students of schools and colleges. The organization is Headquartered in Delhi with its directorates located in different states of India.

The cadets are recruited from schools and colleges of India. The trained cadets have no liability for active military service once they complete their course but are given preference over normal candidate in various areas like government post, job interviews, in studies and sometime during admissions.

NCC is a Tri-Services Organization comprising the Army, Navy and Air Force. Their main aim is to train the youth of the country to be more patriotic and disciplined. There is an official song of NCC titled “Ham Sabh Bhartiya Hain” which was written by Sudarshan Faakir.
