What is the Full Form of PGDM ?
PGDM - Post Graduate Diploma in Management
Post Graduate Diploma in Management is a 2-year full time Management course, offered by many Institutes in India. The course may be divided into four or six semesters depending upon the institute and their curriculum. All Institutes in India are running AICTE approved PGDM course under the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
The curriculum and subjects of PGDM are almost similar to MBA, with a major difference that MBA is a degree program while PGDM is Post graduate Diploma. Post Graduate Diploma in Management should not be considered as a degree as the program may not be affiliated to any University.
